The Asko Story In 1950 in Vara, Sweden the Asko story began with an innovative young man’s dream to build a washing machine for his mother. He wanted to create a unique, energy and water efficient machine with superior cleaning performance and reliability that could heat water, and spin with durable, stainless steel drums. Asko has been recognised for its proven results in dishwashing and laundry durability ever since. Today, ASKO is a global brand, designing and developing premium Kitchen, Laundry and Professional appliances. Our machines meet the highest demands on design, function, durability and environmental awareness. With a uniquely Scandinavian approach, ASKO’s Elements Series combines award-winning design, with clever features and solutions, creating products that are destined to become a much-loved part of your home and your life. Experience Elements Seal The sous-vide technique, founded in restaurant kitchens, involves sealing ingredients in special vacuum bags and then cooking them slowly at temperatures of between 40 and 100°C. The food’s natural flavour, attractive colour and texture are preserved, as are valuable nutrients. It is a gentle cooking method which not only enables an incomparable taste experience but is also healthier. Asko’s Sous-vide Vacuum drawer is the perfect solution for: marinating, sous-vide cooking, food storage and re-sealing. Steam Sous-vide cooking is the next step to expand the possibilities of your Asko Pure Steam oven. With precise temperature control, you can prepare the perfect sous - vide meal. The possibilities are endless. In addition to state-of-the-art steam technology, it delivers full oven functionality at your fingertips. Sear Reverse-sear to finish on the award- winning Elements Duo Fusion Gas and Induction Hob. The hob represents the first product of its kind to truly cater for lovers of the gas flame and induction cooking in one appliance. Featuring the notable Volcano Wok Burner, which is different to most wok burners on the market. It generates a vast amount of heat and effectively directs it to the base of the pan, rather than around the sides. The Volcano maintains a high temperature even when you add more ingredients to the pan. The Volcano burner has an additional outer flame for larger pots and a simmer setting for lower heat cooking.
